1) There is a button at the bottom that controls Auto Re-load. Make sure that is selected.

2) If you left your Sub on Silent Running then they will not reload

3) Do you have enough crew in the torpedo compartment and are they too tired?

4) If all else fails drag a torpedo into the tube and it will begin loading.

Just thought Id add that they will load alot faster if you are at battle stations.

My first guess is that he was in silent running as auto load is on by default.

The boys tend to make a racket when loading torps so use caution :know:

That's no joke either. :damn: I was sitting still at 100 ft. with silent running with no torps loaded in the bow amongst several merchants and their bad DD buddies. The DD's were way out in left field snooping for me when I thought maybe I'll load a couple torps and stop "silent running". Yeah right.:o Two of those DD's perked up their ears and started charging me like a couple wild rhinos.:damn: :damn: I dove to 300 ft. at flank speed discharging a couple decoys, called 1 kt, called silent running and held my breath. Whew I lost them.

Sometimes this Sim really gets your adrenaline going.

There is a level of sophistication built into this game that I am only starting to appreciate.

I was doing a recon mission in a pretty shallow harbor (but PD was OK). Moved in at 1 kt, kept as far from the DDs as possible, Silent Running all the way. Bluffed them out of their shorts.

Got my picture & was one my way out, slipped past the DD's again & was about 10 miles from deep water when temptation got the better of me. I decided to drop one of the Carriers that were anchored there behind me.

As soon as I started to open my rear tubes the DDs were all over me like ugly on an ape. Up 'til that point they had no clue I was even there.

Very impressive.
