Need some help with GWX and SH3 Commander

I've just installed GWX and the 1.03 patch. The manual recommends SH3 Commander as well (already downloaded) and then says:

### Important Notice to users of SH3 Commander ###
Jonesoft has made available updated files to ensure compatibility between GWX and SH3 Commander..
Please note that:
• you MUST install these files if you ARE playing GWX
• you must NOT install these files if you are NOT playing GWX
Take the following steps to configure SH3 Commander for GWX:
• Ensure you are running SH3 Commander R2.6 or greater, as prior releases are not supported.
• Download http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/GWX/GWX102+Cfg4SH3Cmdr.zip and extract the
contents into your SH3 Commander\Cfg folder. Refer to the readme.txt in the zip file for more
detailed information.

Thanks -- I've got that one, though. That's the base SH3 Commander, but the GWX manual says that I need additional files to run SH3 Commander with GWX.

I second that,I was reluctant to try SHIIICmdr,now I wish I'd of used it from the start,a wonderful add on that is the icing on the cake that is GWX:up:

I gave SH3 Commander a try now too, but I have a problem with starting a XXI career in September 44.

I create a new career in SH3 Commander choose the 11. flotilla dated on 09 44 and assign a XXI boat and start Sh3.

Whe I am in Sh3 I select my new profile and start with the same flottila and year but I only get a type VII boat starting on 01 44.

What went wrong??

Is XXI operational in 1944? I think it becomes operational in 1945. In any case I would suggest you rollback SH3Cmdr before setting up a new career. When you have the career set in SH3Cmdr and you load GWX go to the career screen and flick through EVERY possible flotilla option in the year you want to play. After you do that chose the flotilla you like and start up your career. That should work, because if I remember correctly this is an old stock SH3 bug.

You have either not performed a 'rollback' prior to commencing your new career or you have mistaken the dates/flotilla on the red coloured screen (which is quite easy to do believe me)....here are two shots of a XXI in July 44 Bergen using SH3 Commander and GWX v1.03....the first one shows someone fishing off the end of the pier and the second one shows the Hipper in the background :arrgh!:
