Current Issues: OS Test System: Vista Business

One issue that has been plaguing most of the NVIDIA 7800 card owners and the silent hunter 4 simulator would be the control room graphics glitch. It is a random glitch and has no connection to any mods to date.

I use the same 7800 GS AGP (OCed to 450 MHz GPU/1400 MHz Memory) with no problem on XP SP2, and 91.31 driver from nVidia.

Ah, well I'm talking about Vista. I haven’t tried my XP drive yet with this game, I don't go back to XP much anymore

Many hardware manufacturers do NOT have drivers which are designed to work with Vista. They are relying on legacy (XP) drivers and crossing their fingers.

Those of you with older cards may indeed be screwed. Its up to the manufacturer to help you out.

I Have Geforce 7900gs/256mb. Go To Nvidia Download 162.22 Beta
Wind Vista(32 Bits). This Should Work.

Never ran the beta drivers. But have the latest forecware release. I’ll check those out tonight.

The AA doesn’t bother me that much considering I’m still on a couple of CRT’s.. One on the side starting to go out, this might be a good excuse to upgrade.:yep:

I have found a resolution and posted it on my site. I hope it works for anyone with the same issues.
