Getting a complete!

how much time do you have to spend in an area to patrol before ComSubPac says its complete? I spent 40 days on my first patrol and no response from command. ( in the area I had to patrol in.) I had (9) merchant and (1) carrier sinking(s).

Does it hurt you to return to port, especially when your out of ammo/torpedos to end the patrol?

I think the general consensus is to spend 48 hrs within a 50nm radius of the partol star. :ping:

Returning to port without completing your objectives will possibly result in getting the same assignment again. There is a certain logic in this as ConSubPac sent you there for a reason and it is not unreasonable that they want you to complete the objective.

A series of uncompleted objectives will almost certainly result in you being retired early. Sinking ships is not enough. You have you orders and you are expected to follow them.

I understand orders in a "real" sense, but sometimes a game can put a twist on it.
