Ok I'm having some problems with the sounds. There all very quiet. Even with all settings maxed there very quiet and i have to turn up my speakers to max. I never had this problem with ver. 1.2 Am i missing something?

Strange, given that they worked in 1.2

You could manually increase them, but that would take awhile. To do this use your Sound Recorder under > Accessories > Entertainment.

Maybe someone else has something to offer. Worse case, do a complete reinstall.

I had that problem with the 1.3 patch. After installing it, I was getting
no sound at all. I could see the explosions but could hear nothing. Also
other weird things started happening too, not like in the 1.2 version.
I uninstalled the game & reinstalled it along with the 1.3 patch. The sounds
were back. I am now in the process of testing using a 4 merch & 2 DD little
mission I made. I don't know if the 1.3 patch didn't take good the first time or maybe some of the mods I had installed didn't like the new patch. In my testing
so far, I see that I will need to put some of the mods back in. Especially the
one where torp warheads are more powerful and the target ships have historical
damage settings. I hit 2 med. merchants with 2 torps each and got nothing.
Visual hole in one but not even a scratch on the other. They just kept on going
like nothing was wrong. The 2 escorts were all over me and doing it very well too.
Only when I went under the thermal with silent running did they not get a good
fix on me and started blowing up empty ocean....

OK, adding the mod that makes torps 2X did the trick. Now they blow the
guts out of the merchants. I also made a little mission with 3 merchants
(large,med & small) to do the testing. After I hit & sunk the large leading
merchant, the med. one started a hvy. zig-zag pattern that I wasted 2 torps
on (misses). So I surfaced and he took off at a 13 knot clip. No hanging around the area for this guy. I set all the merchants to comp. That might the key to
them getting out of dodge like thy did here. Even the small guy took of like a
rocket in the opposite direction. Maybe when they are novice or lower, they
just mill around going slow. Campaign modders take note !!
