Howdy I'm on the lifeguard mission..Its at night and I saw the flare and went to it and saw the pilot in the water,pulled the sub right up next to him and I cant rescue him..What am I doing wrong??

Did you turn ur engines off an come close to a stop?

i think its like the photograph mission

you have to see it with the periscope
and click on the icon fot that

noth shure never got one of those

Go to bridge,roll mouse wheel for binocular view, align + on survivor,punch rescue survivor Icon.:up: done deal,:lol: Think you get renoun for 20 or so rescues,save the flyboys. That was 1.02,anything change ?

My binos dont have the cross..I came to a stop but didnt turn engines off..I'l try it again...

If using Tmaru 1.3, go in the 1024_768Menu.ini file and search for block

[G27 I12]

and remove the semicolons placed infront of various lines within that block. I hadn't thought of lifeguard missions when removiing the bino crosshair. Im hoping the game will sense center in the bino's and doesnt require the crosshair though. I really detest that thing, but if it has to be there, it has to be there *sigh*.

I am playing Tmaru 1.3 now,did not realise I had no crosshairs yet:doh: .Stay awhile:p

Oh thank goodnesss.

Just FYI, in TMaru 1.3, it seems the Tambor and gar have some buggery going on creating huge saved game files in career mode. I should have a new version up, hopefully late tonight or early tommrrow. Have just one more thing to add, and i think its ready.
