Freezing

Its happned a few times, and it seems the computer does it when Im doing very well indeed.

Coming over the North of Scapa and I get bumped by Swordfishes, 2 flights of 2 then one Hurricane? and another flight of swordfish. Now my gunner gives them abad day and we sort them out. We deck gun and finally torp a C2 in the area as we sail clear....then, game freezes. Its done this ar too many times.

Anyone know how to rectify this?

PC running too hot under load perhaps? Does there appear to be any pattern to when it freezes?

my game freezes everytime i play it, ive noticed it does it on time compresion, even as low as 512x. Anyhow this works for me:

Press alt+ctrl+delete ONCE. if you press it twice the computer will reboot so ensure you only press it once. Then wait, for me normally about 30 secs to a minute does the trick.

Then the desk top comes up with task manager. First close the task manager then look at your taskbar at the bottom of your screen and you should notice that Silent hunter is still there. Click on it and ur back to normal again.

The only differance is that in the uboat control room the maps are all fuzzy. To solve this click on the Navigator fellow and then look at the map. then do the same for the weapons officer and they then should be back to normal.

For me during the first hour of the game i get this problem maybe once or twice :damn: then plain sailing for the rest of the time :up: . Perhaps it will work for you? :D

It aint my comp for sure. It palys ARMA on full graphics.

It may be over heating, very likely.

But same as the guy who psoted above me here. Its the same thing.

Except norm on a return froma patrol. I'll try what you suggested. I was jsut outside of Wilhelms when it did it again earlier, but it sorted itself out. I was ready to kill seriously. :lol:
