"I'm amazed they got permission to do something so ridiculous. It's an area of scientific interest."
Earlier
"We'll be doing some rain magic to bring the rain and wash it away."
Yes i'm sure she is very interested in Science. Afterall, wasn't it Einstein who commented that rain is not a geological occurance but rather the doings of Chac the rain god?

I have to agree with you...we certainly know how some religions react whenever a cartoon or similar is released :yep:
There should be no place for racism anywhere :nope:

BTW you guys know many scholars say the Cernes Abbas giant only dates from the 17th century? My boss knows some people who did some excavating there and at the Uffington horse and the latter was shown to be ancient. :know:

.....it's not right to ruin a religious place we might as well put racist graffiti......
The only protected area in the photo supplied is the field in which the 'Giant' is situated, the adjacent field, where Homer is, is owned privately by the local farmer and is not a religious place. Only the Giant itself is religious. I see no problem with this type of propoganda.
As for offending Pagans, please, there has been no attack made on their religious symbol.
Also, what is a Pagan?
The term Pagan is from Latin paganus, an adjective originally meaning "rural", "rustic" or "of the country."
If that's the case, call me a Pagan.
