One or two deck gun shells should send the whole thing rolling over :)

Deck gun shells? Just surface next to them. When everybody runs to that side to look, that should do it.

Of course you might not get credited for the sinking that way...

It amazes me that those ships survive the roughest seas with cargo like that.

They don't build ships anymore. This is a floating bookshelf

Those containers either got hit by some very powerful waves, or they weren't secured very well....:hmm:

Geeze i hope the bottom right containers didnt have cars in them, Yeah undoublty loaded by Non-Union workers, if that was loaded in the US and the cargo wasnt secured the right way, the ship woouldnt have left port. Im reading a book on the troubled sea, about modern pirates, old unregistered cargo ships and problems with seafaring unions.

Sure gives a good idea of the size of those ships, too, when in comparison with the building/people in the foreground. And that ship's small in comparison with the supertankers. ULCC's (Ultra Large Crude Carriers) have been as big as - this is no typo - 500,000 deadweight tons. Just weren't any of those in WW2. (Fortunately for them, unfortunately for the sub skippers.)

Bernard has moved into the freight handling business it seems!

The coal ship at Newcastle has been refloated (to the releif of some, to the disapointment of others!) IT will need some serious time in a drydock to repair it.

Except you would have to re-load your bow tubes 3 times to bring one down. :)

True, but you'd only have to bring one down, anyway.:D

That first (container) ship should cruise off the coast of Somalia....I'd love to see the pirate attempting to board that beauty "let go of the safety line Bosun" ;)
