"Oberleutnant z. S. Heinrich Rückert and U-51 were lost sometime on 17OCT39."


This was just north of Scapa Flow as I was on my way to the patrol grid at 2 in the morning.

runn SH3commander.
then SH3options and click on gameplay settings.
there you find

Min. 88mm deck gun reload time
and
min. 105mm deck gun reload time

set both to 0.
apply and start the game ;)

Depth Charges - 1st one destroyed 3 fore torpedo tubes, causing heavy flooding.
2nd and 3rd knocked out my electric engines and yet more flooding. Went down like a brick and hit the ocean floor hard - which as you can pretty much guess destroyed my sub.
