Can't find any real info :damn:
Is it a clean install then 1.3. Or a clean install then 1.2, 1.2, 1.3.
I did it the first option. Seems to work o.k. :D

Welcome mate, glad your here.

If you find that SH4 works fine after you patched it the way you did.... then.....

SINK ENEMY SHIPPING...ASAP!

Seriously though ...I actually tried to patch from 1.2 to 1.3 and it was a No-Go for me. Too many problems for what-ever reasons, i'll never know.

Went with a fresh install of SH4 and patched to 1.1....1.2...and finally 1.3
All's well now.

What is the correct way to patch ?

You put your left leg in...

You take your left leg out...

You put your right leg in and you shake it all about.

Oh wait... that's the correct way to do the Hokey-Pokey.

What you did with the patch is fine!

1. Install patch 1.3
2. Play
3. Start asking about 1.4

I suggest 1.3 over a clean install, especially if you use mods. You do not need the intermediate patches 1.1 or 1.2. 1.3 is comprehensive.

I usually load the vanilla game after patching to make sure all is working. That way if something goes wrong after adding the mods, I know where the problem will probably be found.
