Is it just me or do you guys experience the same problem where it will be raining and you will have horrible visibilty for days straight. I hate it. My bad luck with bad weather never ends.

Yes. The poor weather is pretty common. Rarely will you have days of smooth seas and no wind.
But this does add to the challenge.
There are some mods that make the weather better I believe.

To be honest the Atlantic Ocean being flat and calm is rather rare, but I do appreciate the frustration. It's not great having to patrol for days on end and not get any break in the weather, and in the process waste fuel too.

Not only can it be absolutely wretched, but the heavier the rain weather, the more contacts I find. Blasted weatherman is a Tommie spy.

Ok here's a question, is there any way around these submarine nets?
Here's the solution: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=117081&highlight=endless+storm
Now I have days of storm and days of calms sea when you can get a nice tan on the conn tower. And believe me it's as challenging as with constant storm. Calm sea look beautiful but as you have 9km visibility so do DD's and most important airplanes! All time when the sun goes up I live in a constant fear of Sunderlands coming from the sun. It's nice to attack in rough sea at dawn... don't underestimate clear weather. Light mist on the horizon at night might be deadly!

There is a prg called SH3weather, randomizes weather at each patrol start or loading a patrol.
but in general i agree, weather should change at least when you change regions. I can understand weather could be bad for days even weeks in a particular region but thousands of kms away from the storm, the weather doesnt change, that is the thing i am frustrated exactly.

I too have problems with the bad weather, but I find it makes the game more challenging especially at night - before you have radar. Been sunk a few times by ships appearing out of nowhere.:damn:
