Difficulty help

So i finally get a computer capable of playing sh4. And sure enough it looks nice and blah blah

But here is the reason for this post. I cant customise the difficulty in carrer mode, the ones you can customize in options dont match the carrer options. The reason for this is that i want to have everything on max difficulty apart from the targeting.

And on the subject, in the manual it says that you can request your weapons officer to set it up for you, how the heck do you do that?

When you are in the briefing room, hover the mouse on the left of the screen, near the bookshelf, there is an 'option' thingabob there... use that to modify the realism settings for your upcomming patrol.

Just think you're lucky you don't have to wear a damn bonnet....

To answer the OP's question...

Set the difficulty to wherever you want. In the "office" of the campaign screen there is a radio located atop the bookshelves to the left of the desk. Click that and you can modify your difficulty for carrier settings.

Oh on the WO's assistance with TDC uhhh dident make it into the game. However it is going to be added with patch 1.3. So you might say the manual has esp.
