View Full Version : Paukenschlag Party!!!!
11 May 1942
After more than two months at sea, U-67 returned from a patrol off the US coast with a few cupfulls of diesel left. Contributed 11 ships sunk and a tonnage of 88,147 BRT tons to Operation Paukenschlag.
It is time to celebrate! Everyone is invited. Cognac, beer, wine and the famous herring salad are avaialble in copious ammounts. Cheers, mates! :D

Hurrah!!! :()1:
Soon I'll be driving one of them big-arsch boots, too! After I sober up, that is!
:D Drink, sing and do Mary, chaps! And who was it who said loose lips sink drinks?
And there I was . . . destroyers to port, destroyers to starboard, destroyers overhead, destroyers on the bottom . . . anyway, you get the idea. There were destroyers around the place.
I also think I have figured out the mystery of the missing destroyer. After I submerged, he must have hit the whale factory and the whale factory must have shot back. Anyway, returned with a 64% hull integrety. Amazing we didn't get crushed. (slurping down another cognac)

It's good to have you back herr Brag!
I'll have a couple of beers to celebrate your victories and safe return!
:()1:
Hm,
if I get one of the Type IX's to take a quick visit across teh Atlantic too, will I be able to have enough renown to spare to get a XXI too (if I make it that far) ?
I'm in Feb.41 and have saved up ~4500 renown yet in my VIIC.
Congrats @ Brag btw :yep:
Mohr, thanks for the invitation. I think I'll stick to sane patrols. :88) (finishing another bottle of cognac).
Doenitz said he'll send me to the Caribbean next, where life is easy. :yep:
Bernaaard! Take those deck chairs back to wherever you stole them from. :stare:
Now, if I can figure out how to operate the new decoys and the blinking radar . . .

For quick renown go to Tanker Alley in BE (50 hours steaming from Lorient) check out the Spinnennetz contacts map.
You'll get your IXC sumbie after another 2 patrols.
