Monsoon Boats and Patrol Grids

I have decided to have a go at the Indian Sea area of operations and got myself based at Penang. I have been designated the "Tasman" patrol grid. But I cannot find the patrol grid on the map, I'm assuming that the patrol grid is in fact the Tasmanian Sea

Is this the correct grid?

Yep
You wont get renown for reaching or patroling your grid in the IO as there arent any ingame ones there
Best way to go is to edit the basic.cfg

Do while in port
Rollback SH3commander

Go to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Cfg

Open the basic.cfg in Notepad

Find the lines

[RENOWN]
RenownReachGridObjCompleted=200
RenownPatrolGridObjCompleted=200
CompletedPatrol=100 <----Change to 500
NEUTRAL=-1
ALLIED=1
AXIS=-10
WrongShipSunk=-5000
FirstRankRenown=1000
SecondRankRenown=3500
EndCampaign=-5000

Save and you will get the same amount as if you had reached and patrolled the grid

Change back when in an atlantic base

Am going to include Indian Ocean and Black Sea only files in 1.04 to help with load times
The renown fix will be included when you add those campaign files through JSGME
