View Full Version : What does everyone do?
As I wait patiently for 1.3 ...
I am intensely curious what everyone here does. Who actually makes up this community? How many are ex-military? I don't want to violate anyone's privacy (I actually looked in the forum rules to see if asking was a violation) but anyone who wants to respond is welcome. I'm just interested.
Me? I live in China and work for a private equity fund that invests in Asia. I was an officer in the U.S. Army Reserves for 9 years. The closest I got to a sub was when I would take my military ID to Norfolk naval base and they'd let me on various ships as a courtesy. Interesting and fun, both the sub wasn't underway or anything. I used to work as a congressional aide, and one of my former employees became staff on the Armed Service Committee -- they take those guys on subs out of Norfolk and actually let them DIVE THE BOAT. Damn.

I'm actually Dr. Evil. :)
Okay, I'm sorry for being hookey, folks ... I didn't mean for this to be a "let's all go around the room and introduce ourselves" thing.
But I have to do something while I wait for 1.3!!!
Dean, I thought you were Secretary of State ...
Have a look through the General Topics forum, it's more a place to socialise while waiting for 1.3. :yep:
Me? I oil up models for swimsuit catalogues. :shifty:

**ck 'em! People allways laugh at those who are doing thier own thing, cause they are stuck in thier own rut, and don't have the courage to break away from other people's expectations. They would rather act like you are the nut than to try something new, which would be scary....
Always reminds me of that Wendy's commercial, where there are are a whole bunch of poeple out in the forest, and each one is kicking thier own tree, just because everyone else is kicking a tree...
I would have never gotten into computer forensics if I'd listened to everyone else.....
