I got completely trashed by some escorts today (those DC's seem to damage you from about a mile away lol), got to about 1390ft before I met my demise! Will post a screen tomorrow mornin as its a bit late now :P. How far you guys got down before?

I went down to almost 1600 ft in a Baleo. I was Depth charged and I didn't bother to look at the depth gauge. My idiotic crew decided not to tell me we were at 1400 ft andbefore I knew it we were at 1500. I died at 1590 ft. At least I torpedoed one of the Destroyers harassing me.

I've been ~450m below the sea level before I got the blackout screen. It was a Porpoise :nope:

This was taken about 20 seconds before I died, only at 1290ft here though.

Shouldent you have to 'survive' the dive to claim a record.

There is a buttload of pilots who could claim the worlds lowest altitude record if not.

I was in a S class at that depth on my way to dead.... but the boat wasn't "crushed" until then. Think that that might be kinda a bug.

That is a good point SW, still something though to see that screen and the depth of the sub before its demise.

I'm really cautious when it comes to depth records.

I mean, I could go into a .cfg file, change a few settings, and then get deeper than anyone and survive it.

That being said, I think the .cfg files need changing, anyway, because the numbers seem to me to be too shallow.
