HELp please

Hi again. sry for posting so close together but when i started up GWX 3 things happened.
1 the bar with the start button is showing in game.:o
2 there is no sound at the main menu :o and
3 the most severe is when i start a new or saved campaign it stays at "Game Paused" and will NOT let me unpause it to play.:down: Can anyone help me please

Could you please tell us how you installed GWX, what GWX version it is, and what patches you already used before installing GWX?

I'm not a dev. member, just making this get solved faster, and bumping a bit.

I would re-install SH III and GWX.

1.Uninstall SH3 via Windows' "Add/Remove programs"
2. Open Windows Explorer and:
- *delete* the folder where you had installed SH3
- *delete* the \My Documents\SH3 folder
3. Reinstall SH3
4. If your SH3 did not come with patch v1.4b already included, install patch v1.4b. Ensure you install the patch that corresponds to your copy of SH3 (Download/DVD/EMEA/US)
5. OPTIONAL: Copy and paste this "clean" install as a backup to avoid the need to follow steps 1-3 if your game becomes corrupt in future
6. Visit the GWX homepage (http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/GWX/) and download into the SAME folder GWX.exe and the five .bin files. While there grab the v1.03 patch
7. Run GWX.exe and follow the installation prompts
8. Run GWX103.exe and follow the installation prompts
9. SH3 COMMANDER USERS: Visit the GWX homepage (http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/GWX/) and download the GWX 1.02+ Cfg files for SH3 Commander and unzip the contents DIRECTLY into your SH3 Commander\Cfg folder. :up:

Not being able to run SH3 is possibly the worst emergency! This household wasn't worth living in when my original installation wouldn't run. Poor old Mrs KeybdFlyer kept a very low profile for a couple of weeks and communicated via notes slipped under the den door. Meals were delivered as food parcels via UPS, who lobbed them through the open window and then ran away in terror. And there were several quite friendly NPCs in Morrowind who found themselves being severely beaten-up for no apparent reason by an irate Mystic Crusader! Nice to see that the problem is now solved though - GOOD HUNTING!
