another account?

I just tried to run SHIV from my desk top as I always do and got an error message that the game was already running on a different account..?!?.......huh?
I played it last night just fine.
Anybody run into this and solve it?

Never seen this before. What operating system are you using? and do you have multiple accounts on your system?

Are we talking on-line or single player?

Windows XP, single player.
Tried a reboot just to see, no luck.

Open task manager, click the processes tab, check the "show processes from all users" box, and see if there are any other sh4.exe processes running on your system.

The error message changed to the one about not using a copy after another reboot, I tried a couple more times and it finally loaded. Everything looks fine, it has my last save etc.
Dunno what worked, good karma maybe. Thanks for your replies.
