aircraft?

now in 1942 all i see are planes coming in to bomb my sub, wasent there a mod to reduce this? if so where can i get it because its no fun now, and it is seriously not realistic to have planes out in the midle of the ocean, granted they were aircraft cairier aircraft and i was outside of midway, so maby there are cariers near by but i did not see any and no reports of them.

If you don't have SD I'd stay submerged during daylight hours. Yes there are some great mods.

i know there are many mods with this included, but i just wanted this part, anyway i guess i will sufer through it, i used up basically all the AA ammo and had to return to midway to rearm again. I guess diving is my only option.

Airplanes can make short work of surfaced subs, so diving is the only option. Be careful if the aircraft are spooted too close to the sub! Accelerating and making a hard turn during the dive is advised. This saved my ass...err...I mean stern more than once.

Stay submerged during the day. Just an easy way to avoid the many aircraft and to add a bit of realism to your game play, submerge at sun up and surface at sun down.

yeah i know that, its just sometimes im a little impatient, but that has no place in this type of game so i will just have to get used to that.

Search the forums for "Reduced Aircraft" and you will get about 15
different posts about it. Pick the one you want and then DL and install
it. I went into the files and did my own editing to something I could live
with...

Yes, the race is won by the patient, not the swift when it come to submarines:up: Heck, I submerge and TC until dark:D
