Help setting top speed etc

Evening. I do not wish to calcualte the firing solution myself (not that good) but I would like to set the speed, depth and firing mechanism of my torpedos. Is there a way to do this?

In the Periscape screen, on the position keeper panel (pull-out on the left), there is a switch at the bottom. Clicking on it takes you to the settings panel where you can make the adjustments you want.

Thanks for the answer, put there is no position keeper pull out on my attack periscope view. On the training missions I had one, but now I am in campaign ... there simply is no little tap to click on to pull the options out... I am not using manual TDC could this by why? Or should it come out regardless?

Just guessing here, are you sure you are looking at the attack scope and not the observation scope?

Its available at both scopes and the UZO but not the binocs.

I dont understand the question. Its there trust me. It is a little grey tab on the left side of the screen click it and the TDC will open up.

Thanks. I most definately do not have a little grey tab on the left handside of either of my periscope screens. I am not using manual TDC so could this be why? Or should it come up regardless of the setting?

They should be there regardless.

Look at the very first picture it shows all three pull out tabs open.

If your periscope screen does not have click on/pull out tabs like this then you may have a problem. If still in doubt press F4. Also in your SH4 manual it is located on page 61 or listed as "Periscope Station". Manual shows you a pic simular to this one.

Targeting a tender? No, I was just messing around taking pics couple months ago and I picked it to try to explain to liverpoolfan. I get my a$$ kicked enough by the Japanese let alone try to mess with my own guys. :oops: :yep:

Sorry about that liverpoolfan, for the other post of mine may have confused you for in my haste I posted a pic of the TBT Station ( on the bridge ), you get the same torp setup though. Below are two pics at periscope depth of the "Attack Periscope" looking at waves ( whoopie :huh: :lol: ) Just wanted to make sure you have the right screen set up. Can't figure out why you have no tabs on your "Attack Periscope " screen?

That's is superb help. I really appreciate the effort you went to help me out with this one. I have got to the bottom of this. My resolution and screen position were in such a setting that the left of the screen was cut out by an inch. THis meant that I did not see the tab.

But your help made me look much closer and play around so thank you very much
