Hello, I am a Masters student researching in sonobuoys' interface/display designs. We are looking for sub games players to participate in our evaluation study in the Toronto/K-W region. It would only take an hour of your time, and there is some financial compensation. It's been difficult finding anyone that has experience in sub games, so we'd really appreciate it if you could help us out.

Please email me at yenwinnie[at]gmail[dot]com if you are interested at all to participate. Thanks!

Oh, and don't worry, people will be reading your thread!;)

take off you hosers - start a separate thread for Canuck jokes, eh:D

Right now just pony up and participate in this research project. Imagine - finally - your ridiculous wealth of sub/sonar knowledge can be applied in real life!

Meh, I've spent a grand total of about 8 or 10 hours on a submarine. The USS Becuna in Philly (museum boat), the USS Bowfin in Pearl Harbor (museum boat), and a courtesy tour of the USS Olympia (SSN-717) in Pearl.

There are others with a much better grasp of the subject than I, and realistically, I'm too far away to participate anyway.

Now, if they needed someone fluent in Morse for this project, and they were doing it in upstate NY, then I'm your man.

It appears to be an information management thing as related to
sonobouy displays.
