Incase you ever felt that you needed to remove SecureROM 7 from your system, and then proceeded to shutdown and uninstall the service, delete the exe file, and then remove any trace of it from your registry, well, you may have found out they screwed with your registry and forced their keys to remain. Nice huh? Isn't it the point that when you uninstall an app, that you want 'all' of it gone? I am kind of that way.
So, why should you have forced / stuck registry keys on your computer when you don't even use their app because you uninstalled the game or software that uses SecureROM anyway? You shouldn't be forced into anything on your computer and I particulary hate companies that force you to do things on your computer.
Anyway, here is the app:
http://fileho.com/download/adbd19758608/trashreg.zip.html
It will allow you to delete those annoying keys without manually loading the hive.
I understand Sony's position on forcing you to keep part of their SecureROM on your system, but I tell them to find another way. Make an online check if you have to, but don't force me to keep your stupid programs on my system when I uninstalled the app in question!!!
k - I spoke my peace. steps off soapbox....

PS. Vista users need not apply. This app won't work (like everything else that won't work on Vista - which is 99% of everything), so figure out how to load your registry hive offline.
