There is a sub tender there. You can rearm/refuel (mistakenly called a "refit" in the game), but not dock.

Thanks for the info, Tater. I just saw these for the first time today myself.

These are pretty cool. A few ships tucked away in a cove. Load up and head out again:up:

Are these only in RFB or are they present in stock SH4 as well? I was actually about to post asking if there were "sub tender" ships actually present in the game, and where to find them, but I saw this post first.

The "refit" (refuel/rearm) functionalityis not organic to the tenderin the mission. You place theminor naval base, and the subtender is eye candy. So they must be fixed tothe location they are placed. There are several in the stock game. Tulagi, that place north of Freemantle, Johnson Atoll, etc.

Probably so..

Actually "tenders" are a key component of the game. A way to rack up renown before that dreaded early retirement.

If your out of munitions you will not get any further missions. If you refit and file a status report... you will recieve a new mission. You can do this for quite a long time. I generally run 3 to 6 missions, then finally return to home base. Depending on how hard we are beat.

One catch... load times [Please Wait] get pretty long.
