Democrats typically have shied from stinging comments about military officers, instead focusing criticism on Bush and administration policies in Iraq.
That sounds just a tad bit partisan. Bloody Fox Noise.

It seems though that the Bush Administration is changing everyone around them to give the impression that something is changing about Iraq. I don't see how anyone can buy it when the "Decider" himself is still there. That administration has been an inner circle of decision making and the inner circle is still intact for the most part.

The military in the United States has always done what the civilian government has told it, so you really can't blame them. Plus, an officer is trained to always come up with alternatives to overcome difficult situations so admitting the whole Iraq situation is FUBAR is difficult for them.

I guess it gets a little easier after you have received your retirement. :D
