Don't you just hate it when they nail you right in the periscope lens as you are tracking a convoy in shallow water?

That big white spot is quite visible to the enemy.

I once lost a U-boat after a seagull pooped on my scope.

Dowly took a screenshot of a similar event. I wish I could find it.

Seagull poop costs lives!

Don't you go bad-mouthing gull guano. Gull guano is mined to make nitrates. You know, the stuff that is used to make the things that go *BOOM*.

That there bird feces is military gold, my friend, military gold. Scrape it off and sell it when you get back home.

I think your meant to instruct your lookouts to collect all their crap and use the acid content to rejuvinate your vessels batteries :hmm:

It's called 'helping the war effort' :D

Excellent picture, tells a story. The insights revealed by our Kaleuns are also impressive. I never hang out on the poop deck. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good Pic, that's exactly why I always keep the windows rolled up in my boat.

Exactly, I keep the screen door tightly closed on my sub.
