Commanders Medals In SH3

Evening All

I was just wondering if there was anyway to edit your awards in SH3
similair to like what I used to do in good old AOD. For example I was awarded
the Knights Cross in Aprill 40 fro about 60,000 Grt then the Oak leaves the next patrol for about 72,000 Grt which finished in June 40 and just recently the Swords
for about 180,000 Grt which fell in Sept 40. It would be good to change the awards system to say 200,000 Grt for Oak Leaves and 100,000 for the Knights cross especially in the early years and seeing that the Swords and Diamonds didn't
even appear untill June 1941 it would be good not to be awardsed these awards untill that time.

Any thought or hints ?

Well dont think you can change the date on them but if you go to cfg folder you can adjust ammount of renown required for one. I know it is not exactly what you are after but if you increase the renown you wont get the medals too eraly...

SH3 Commander does a pretty good job in correcting the dates medals are awarded to you and your crew. Install it and let it take care of the rest... :know:

Hi Guys

I spent a night playing with the config files and have figured out how to
change the awards its all in the careers file in the current player file that you are playing so say when I was awarded the Knights cross with O/L Swords in the
game I went to this file and changed it so that when I went back into SH3 commander and updated the personell files it only showed the Knoghts cross and Oak leaves it also shows up in the game but you have to do it about every patrol
but atleast its realistic so I didn't end up gatting the award till after June41
which is historically realistic even though I more than qualified for the award by about Dec1940. I also managed to change the dates for promtion in the personel
file like when I was promted to Lt Z.S ect which is in the SH3Commander ini file.

The only thing I havnt managed to change is the actual promotion dates in the game.
