29 May 1941, Lorient
Deutsches Rundfunk
U-123 Returned today to a triumphal reception at the dock. The U-Boat under the command of Kapitanleutnant Bucher after a brilliant patrol in the central Atlantic has sunk a total of 1,016,575 tonnes of enemy shipping.
:D What can I say? BIG party tonight--Champagne, cognac, cigars, caviar, and herring salad, of course!
The crew of the U-123 humbly accepts congratulations and adulation :yep:

Well done I'll have a beer :D
Have you collected all the nice shiny medals yet? and what rank are you by now? vice-admiral or something?:D
Hi Cranky, here's your beer. :D (L'm drinking Vieuve Cliqot).
I'm still a Kl, have 19,000 renown, I think the Korvettenkapitan rank comes with 20k or so.
Got all the medals including the RK with oakies and diamonds.
Now, who's hiding the girls? :hmm:

Come on Brag... you can bump it up to at least 74% difficulty. That what its a viic plays at. :yep::up:

I find plotting map updates too time consuming. That's what Bernard does best and why I keep him in my crew :rotfl: :rotfl: .
Haff another dwink :D

hmm yeah, I've never used a torpedo officer, so I'm sort of unclear on what exactly he does...but all the other ones are useful, especially map contacts for sonar-lines, they make life a lot better, a Kaleun should not have to do everything himself, sonar lines represent a trained Funker

The torpedo officer shouts, "Rohr einz los, Aal ist im wasser." Then helps with the Yammyy chorus

Today in RL was "vacationing" on Chesapeake Bay. Spotted a northbound RL tanker, 2,000 meters doing 7 knots. I didn't have torpedoes.
Everyone have another drink then go sink 'em all. :D
