Hi, I am a newb to the SH series, currently learning SH4. I have completed 2 missions so far in my career. In my first mission I used all my torpedoes. In the second mission I went out to sea with none, much to my surprise. I thought that when I was docked my sub would auto reload. It didnt. How do I replenish weapons on the boat? If you want to talk about refitting, dont bother, because I am still trying to figure out what the term "Flank" means. That is how much of a newb I am.
Thanks,
Dun

On your desk in "base" is a model of a submarine. Click on that. Itll open a screen with three tabs. One of the tabs has icons of torpedoes. Select that one. Drag torpedoes from the left "inventory" into your empty slots.
Dont worry I think everyone here has learned this the hard way ;)

Nice shooting and your welcome.
ps; you can always stop at a "tender" Anchor icons on the map with striped blue and white and get a fresh loadout.
In fact if you finish a mission, stop at a 'tender' get refitted and radio in a patrol report you will be assigned a new mission without having to sail into home port. (avoiding early retirement)
The catch is the load times for your saved game get longer.
