Yall are going to think Im crazy but no.... really.... I saw this! It happened so fast I dident get a screen grab.
I was in the bridge view when an aircraft was spotted. Ordered "Crash Dive". I decided to stay on the bridge as long as possible which was an interesting experience as I was actually submerged before I got "transported" into the sub.
When I "appeared" inside the sub One of the drivers (sailors at the dive planes) was seated facing me instead of the wheel. I looked at him and he had is hand out towards me with the index finger pointing up in a familiar gesture. Quickly the sailor got that "uth oh... busted" look on his face, stuck the finger up his nose, spun to face the wheel, and went back to "normal".
Anyone else caught the sailors picking their noses ?

OH MAN I hope this really happens.
I absolutely love it and intent to spend a lot more time in the control room in the future.

It was literally as if he dident think I was looking and got caught it happened really quick all told it was just a few seconds.
It happened immediatly after I "appeared" inside the sub teleporting from the bridge.

Now someone needs to mod the texture of the 'snot' on his finger. Use the 'smaller plant life' mod maybe!:D

I doubt UBI devs would implement this "feature" in SH4... If it's really there, it'll be bad for the rating of SH4 which will cause the same havoc as GTA:SA did with it's hidden nude minigame...
Until I see a screenshot, this is just a joke (and hey, it's a long way until April 1st!).

I doubt very much that some guy picking his nose would garner a "M" rating.
No I am not making this up.

You sure you weren't drinking a little too much or something? :D
Did your planesman also have a shirt with "Sex Pistols" lettering on it? :D

Obviously a case of "Bogies at 6 o' clock!"
I have seen this gesture, and prefer to think he is indicating silent running.
I believe he useing his index finger not the middle diget. The other man on the planes ,would nail him,or @ least & F-you-too !:rotfl:Things, must be slow.

I've seen the driver (planesmen?) in SH3 put his index finger up to his lips during silent running. Maybe this is what he saw and it's also in Sh4?

This is what it is.
In SH4, during Silent Running, the helmsman will look at you and put his finger to his lip in a "Sssshhhhhh!" gesture.
That's what he saw.

On the other hand....Maybe the planes man had been hitting the depth charge medicine too frequently and was indeed making the gesture.....food for thought.
