hi there can someone tell pls if is possible to force fsaa on ATI for 1680x1050? I can't do that through CCC. Other resolutions seems to be "supported" but i can't force it for 1680x1050. :-( i have 7.4 drivers on x1900

Did you get the latest update? Ubisoft had FSAA disabled until the latest patch, even if you enable it in the graphics control menu.

But if you have updated it...I'd blame the graphics card...Go with Nvidia

There have been some issues with Catalyst 7.4 and FSAA. Im sure others will chime in here.

Situation is even worse if your running vista.

Ive never tried to run at that resolution but I can run at 1280x1024 with FSAA using Cat 7.3 no problems.

I'm running a widescreen 21" LCD at 1680x1050, 7.4 drivers with AA on.

No problems. The AA works fine. If you have an issue it's not in the game.

One difference maybe I'm using the ATI Tray Tools, and not the CCC, but that really shouldn't matter.

I'm running 1200x1600 and FSAA using CCC - no problems in that regard.
x1900xtx Catalyst 7.4

However, 3d clock speeds do not kick in. I can force them with atitool but, it shouldn't be that way.

If the devs don't fix it, maybe ati will...

I'm experiencing the same problem with Catalyst 7.4, Vista, and 1650x1050. I haven't bothered to mess with it since I won't be playing much until patch 1.3 comes out. Otherwise I would try reverting to version 7.3 of the driver and see if that makes a difference.

I can force FSAA using CCC with no problems.

Maybe it IS Vista?

sry i didn't wrote it: i'm on XP :-( other resolutions working with aa but native resolution for my lcd didn't work and i don't know why :-( If i set resolution on something worse than 1680x1050 aa works and it seems it is exactly aa because 2,4 or 6 samples is difference so it is not by lcd "pixel degrading". If i set 1680x1050 (native for my lcd) aa didnt work. I try force through CCC and atitool. Today is new Catalyst out so i go to try them

Exact same problem since the patch came out, on different Cats since then, but no change.

It's only 1680x1050 that AA won't work on, it actually works on all lower res's.

I compromised by setting it on 1440x900.
