Sailor's Creed
I am a United States Sailor.
I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and I will obey the orders of those appointed over me.
I represent the fighting spirit of the Navy and those who have gone before me to defend freedom and democracy around the world.
I proudly serve my country's Navy combat team with Honor, Courage and Commitment.
I am committed to excellence and the fair treatment of all.

The Creed of the United States Marine
This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My rifle is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life.
My rifle, without me, is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless.
I must fire my rifle true.
I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me.
I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will . . . .
My rifle and I know that what counts in this war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, nor the smoke we make.
We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit . . . .
My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life.
Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, its parts, its accessories, its sights, and its barrel.
I will ever guard it against the ravages of weather and damage.
I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready.
We will become part of each other. We will . . . .
Before God I swear this creed.
My rifle and I are the defenders of my country.
We are the masters of our enemy.
We are the saviors of my life.
So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy, but Peace!

The Soldier's Creed
I am an American Soldier.
I am a Warrior and a member of a team. I serve the people of the United States and live the Army Values.
I will always place the mission first.
I will never accept defeat.
I will never quit.
I will never leave a fallen comrade.
I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills. I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.
I am an expert and I am a professional.
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.
I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.
I am an American Soldier

The Airman's Creed
I am an American Airman.
I am a warrior.
I have answered my nation's call.
I am an American Airman.
My mission is to fly, fight, and win.
I am faithful to a proud heritage,
a tradition of honor, and a legacy of valor.
I am an American Airman,
guardian of freedom and justice,
my nation's sword and shield,
its sentry and avenger.
I defend my country with my life.
I am an American Airman:
wingman, leader, warrior.
I will never leave an Airman behind,
I will never falter,
and I will not fail.

They use to pay me to confess those creed's, but now that I'm old and all used up they don't want me anymore. So I'll do it for free anyway.

Thanks for adding to my Memorial Day Iceman ...

Soldiers creed has changed I think. Didn't it use to say "I am an American fighting man"?

Edit: Never mind. It's Code of Conduct. But the creed was changed in 2003 though.

What about the Coast Guard?
Kind of an odd one.

I am proud to be a United States Coast Guardsman.
I revere that long line of expert seamen who by their devotion to duty and sacrifice of self have made it possible for me to be a member of a service honored and respected, in peace and in war, throughout the world.
I never, by work or deed, will bring reproach upon the fair name of my service, nor permit others to do so unchallenged.
I will cheerfully and willingly obey all lawful orders.
I will always be on time to relieve, and shall endeavor to do more, rather than less, than my share.
I will always be at my station, alert and attending to my duties.
I shall, so far as I am able, bring to my seniors solutions, not problems.
I shall live joyously, but always with due regard for the rights and privileges of others.
I shall endeavor to be a model citizen in the community in which I live. I shall sell life dearly to an enemy of my country, but give it freely to
rescue those in peril. With God's help, I shall endeavor to be one of His noblest Works -
A UNITED STATES COASTGUARDSMAN.
Written in 1938 by VADM Harry G. Hamlet, USCG, Commandant 1932-1936.

Airforce Brat's Creed

I am an Airforce Brat
I am a shameless braggart
I will always be more interesting than you
My mission is to make all of you feel uninteresting and inadequate
I am faithful to pretty much every country but the one my parents fight for
I am secretly emotionally damaged
I am an Airforce Brat
I will forever look smug at airshows
I've never spent more than 5 minutes with my father
I am an Airforce Brat
I will never admit unhappiness
And I will not fail. (Ever.)

3rd generation AirForce child! :smug: :smug: :smug:

I think someone should add a disclaimer for the uninformed, however, that today is US Memorial Day.

I know I wouldn't have known about it if I wasn't reminded of it by a few Americans today :p
So in a way it's a little Amero-Centric. Come on, throw us (numerous) foreigners here a clue so we don't make fools of ourselves!

Naturally, salute to the servicemen!

I didn't know that Canadians were foreigners ... I thought we were neighbors or did you mean Russia (the country where you were born and transferred from)?

I always liked this one. To the tune of "Pop Goes the Weasal"

I don't go out with girls anymore,
I live a life of danger,
I beat my &*(# and, live in the woods,
Oops, I'm a Ranger.

(I was not a Ranger, nor did I attend Ranger School)

Nope, I was a tanker.

We lugged around 100lbs of coal for when it got cold, and warmed our MRE's on the back deck of the tank.

Just like going camping in a RV.

Well, our Memorial Day = Armistice Day. I think a lot of people here don't know about the American one either!

Our May holiday is Victoria Day (ironically, we're the only country to still celebrate it), which was the previous monday :p

A day late and a dollar short here as usual... At least I remembered to put my flag out yesterday morning.

To every soldier, sailor, marine, and airman that we have lost... especially of late...

You were not "numbers."

You were people.

You were individuals.

You were our best friends, brothers, sisters, and cousins...

...who had the courage to answer a call to serve...

I may not know you... but I miss you.

All of you.

In other news:

In the navy
you can sail the seven seas
you can put your mind at ease
you can protect the motherland
you can join your fellow man
you can make a stand
In the navy
