Just installed these new driver's and gained 10fps and no more white lines around the back of the sub when I go to external view, my 7950 was locked @ 30fps now it's 43:up:

Go to the Nvidia website and click one the beta box to the right of the download section.

You specifically have to hit the "Beta (http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_downloads_rel70betadriver.html)" link, towards the top of the page... it's mixed in with the Linux and other drivers. Or just take that link I just posted... it should take you right there.

Edit: Actually, I don't see that version posted up there, either... *helpless shrug*

Installed OK on my 7800 GS. Hopefully it'll fix my shutting off issue I've been having with the game lately. Thanks!

On my 6800 ultra these driver are no good, shuttering in game, not to mention other games are terrible like rainbow 6 vegas, I get sick from the low FPS, Call of Duty 2 is unplayable. These drivers an the 93.71 that the manufacture of my card recomends are the worst I've ever tried. So far for my card the 81.98 gives me my best FPS in games.

Using the 94.24 an using the external camera when I watch explotions it shutters bad. I can see LOW FPS in the command room an graphic glicthes in external view.

Apparently it supports the 6 series as well but whether it'll make any difference I don't know. Just need to try it out I guess.

A follow up: With SH4 they definitely improved my frame rate, not that it was bad before, only during TC at a certain magnification in the Navigation Map. Sadly though, it did not resolve my powering off issue. :nope:

Since Nvidia is good about making universal drivers to work with all the GForce Cards, I'm wondering just what it could do for my 5700LE.

Any improvement in Frame-Rate is a big plus :yep:

I am hoping to upgrade to at least a 7600. I try to keep an eye on Ebay, just in case I win a bid:roll:

Yeah, people shouldn't be using the 100 series drivers for anything other than the 8 series cards.

I finally got my main PC back in order, and immediately remembered that I was never happy with 93.71. Gonna have to try the guru3d 97.92 now...

Just wondering if anyone has a XFX GEFORCE 7600 GS 512MB AGP? If so does anyone have any complaints?

I finally got one (brand new in box)on Ebay and waiting for delivery.

I'm currently using a GEFORCE 5700 LE 256MB AGP.

That's arguable. A few weeks back I was reading the 158.19 (for XP) release notes while researching a problem for someone with an 8800GTX when I noticed it mentioned known problems with certain 7 and even 6 series cards. That struck me as odd since the default installation won't allow you to install 158.x on those cards. To test this I unpacked the installation files, modified nv4_disp.inf and duly installed 158.22 (XP). It's been running happily with my XFX 7800GT XXX for about a month. I even gained a modest boost in 3DMark06.

Nvidia aren't supporting 158.x on 7 series cards (94.24 is the most recent official release) but I suspect the reason it works is because Nvidia want to return to the unified driver model as soon as possible.

I may need to upgrade then. I'm using Drivers 93.71.

I just installed my brand new XFX 7600 GS (512MB).

I tried SH4 last night and W:oW, every thing looked great. I had transparent water before but the frame rate is smoooth now and that's with everything turned on.

I'd just like to say... I'm happy I didn't buy an ATI card.

I won't mention the Catalyst thread here. Saddening.:nope:
