Anyone else looking out for this potentially great game? Ground Control was awesome (I've just re-downloaded it), and if World of Conflict returns to it style-wise, it'll be incredible.

For those of you who don't know what the original Ground Control was, I wrote extensively about it in this (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?p=2319236#post2319236) thread, which by the way features even more screenshots. World in Conflict is an RTT by the same people, set in the Cold War in a war against the Soviet Union. You can play either as the USA, NATO, or USSR, and there's no base-building or resource-gathering, just a chess game of using your units to the best of their potential. Terrain will also play a huge role, and everything on the map except, sadly, the terrain itself will be indestructible.

Sadly, this'll be way above my system requirements, so I'll probably need to upgrade my comp just to play the demo, but it's looking really, really good. I only hope they won't repeat too many of their mistakes from Ground Control II:shifty:.

I am keeping my eyes on this one, as I wrote in the "other games section". The game looks really good, but I am waiting on the Warsaw Pact to be added.
If we merge our computers together, then maybe we'll be able to play this game. :D

I loved the original Ground Control. I'll have to check this other on out.

Looking forward to this one. Tho, I think my PC will explode as soon as I put the DVD in. The soldiers look like from Armed Assault or someting. Unbelievable detail!
