You know, just maybe this might help our cause for the patch, and even further support beyond! The more sources that contact UBI the better!

You know, I have been very patient and supportive with this game. Reading that irritates me a bit, as I can't keep telling myself that Ubi will make good in the end. Ubi should really think about paying the great modders here for making their game actually playable. Oh, or maybe they can just make a big donation to subsim, so the modders have a permanent home to make their game playable.

Good suggestion, however some of the issues with SH4 is hardcoded. Will be exciting to see what UBI decides when it comes to the needed patch 1.3

This is really a bizarre situation all round.
I think it is definately good that it's getting global attention from some big entities. I think that's the only way us little guys in here are going to get anywhere.

Please register and Digg this to increase the chances of greater publicity. Now is the time to stop this trend of releasing untested and buggy games.

I'm now using a few contacts in the BBC to get an article on the Technology section of their website....fingers crossed!
No longer needed YEA US!!!!
Great that we got the patch settled, but I agree... while user initiative is good, I think being forced to beg, whine and plead for a patch is a pathetic move on the company's part. It's up to the producer, not the consumer, to show enthusiasm for producing better games.
(Mind you, I mean the Ubi management, not the devs. I ask that people please remember that the devs are quite probably as keen on seeing a flawless Subsim as we are, but alas...)
