Just watching an episode of this on UKTV History, to do with Nuclear Submarines, detailing the US, NATO, Soviet races to develop the best in design of nuclear submarine from the late 50s to today. It's quite good really, covers most of the things featured in Blind Mans Bluff (The cable tapping by the Halibut, etc) and the Walker spy ring.
It's certainly a good watch for someone who, say, has more knowledge of the Uboat era than modern submarine warfare, and a good watch for anyone really, it has some good footage and commentary.

Keep an eye out for it.

EDIT: Just looking at the TV Guide, it's back on again at 4:00pm on UKTV History and 5:00pm on UKTV History +1, so there's another chance to catch it. Not sure about the stateside channels, but I'm sure it's been on and will be on again.

Another one on today, now it's Aircraft Carriers, something I don't know a great deal about so this should be quite informative. I've already learnt something new, I didn't realise they tried launching planes from platforms above the gun turrets on battleships before HMS Argus.

It'll be on at the above times, plus it's also repeated again at 10pm, or at least, it was yesterday.

I have a photo of the Royal navy launching a plane off the Q turrent of H.M.A.S. Australia (battlecruiser). They even launched planes off barges towed behing destroyers, in an attempt to shoot down German Airships.:yep:
