Seriously guys, I'm wondering what the heck happened. I lost my internet for a few weeks when I moved home, but I still managed to flit on and off during the school day. All I see now is hostility, really. Sure, everyone's cut up about the patch 1.3 issue, but for god sake find something else to take your anger out on. Think about it; we may be the only community who has the influence to sway Ubisoft about their decisions, and we're not going to achieve that goal by bickering amongst ourselves, bitching about how you were 'robbed' of your $40, or getting hostile over mods.

We're losing some damn good folks here, and this place might well go down the toilet if we dont bite the bullet and pull together to get something done. Everything turns into an argument between people on their high horses who sometimes think "My opinion is correct" and it ruins it for people who want to chip in but the thread gets closed before they get a word in edgeways.

Come on, simmers. This shouldnt be the culmination of 10 years of development, should it?

Ive not noticed any particular hostilities recently, but perhaps that's because I haven't taken an interest in the 1.3 patch discussions.

I take it this is SHIV nagging?

I don't know anything about SHIV so it would seem I've missed all the excitement... I'm still grinding away at the allies in the Atlantic.

I rarely stray that far up the page in the forum map, SH3 is normally bout as high as I go, but I pop into SH4 from time to time, and see a lot of griefing going on in there about a broken game, etc...but I also see a few people saying it's quite good, etc. As long as it stays contained in the SH4 area it hasn't really got to me yet. Although I see STEED is leaving which is a terrible shame as I quite enjoyed his campaign against Political Correctness. Such a pity.

I've found just lately, and I dunno if it's just me getting old, but the world has become a much more aggressive place, there's more over-all violence, gangsta-rap promotes slapping up some ho's, there's Christianity condemning Islam, Islam condemning Christianity and blowing it up.
Makes me wonder what kinda world I'll be bringing my kids up in, should I ever choose to have any.

It's a scary thought.

Totally agree, Kapitan, I`m not here as much as I used to because of all the BS.

But what the **** are you doing here in the general section? Go back to your work on Das Boot plays Silent Hunter 4!

I find the nagging quite humorist, goes to show how we are very dedicated to our sub games. The devs must have a straightjacket close by when they enter these forums :rotfl:

Anyways the game still is enjoyable how it is, no radar working, **** the radar go auto targetting till its fixed. Still fun to play.:D

Anyway, didn't anyone on the DW forum tell you...Submarines plus radar equals airbourne death drops.

Knowing Soviet electical equipment, if the radar on the Akula was broken in DW, it would probably be hailed as the ultimate in realism.

I didn't know about STEED going, I hope others who have thought of leaving, such as bigboywooly will stick around. Much would be lost if people who contribute so much leave.

I haven't noticed an increase in any negative posts, but I haven't been watch some of the more charged posts that are on the forum.
