Refuel and Resupply

I just installed GWX v1.3 and was wondering if there was a way to refuel and resupply at friendly ports (other than your homeport) and continue on with your patrol. For some reason, they sent me halfway down Africa in a Type VII, which doesn't have the longest legs (if only I had a type IX). Needless to say, I'm low on fuel and was wondering if GWX had this as no option?

depending on the year you should have access to the friendly resupply boats in spain as well as the canary islands IIRC (think it was the canary) as far as friendly ports i think you can refuel and rearm but you cant make any other changes to your boat... but im not sure about ports as i have always just used the resupply subs and boats

Docking at ANY friendly port\resupply or milkcow ends your current patrol
You will start a new patrol on leaving with a NULL grid which is to get you home

If you are using SH3commander it will recognise you are at a friendly port\resupply etc and set days in port to 1
You can also use SH3commander to assign yourself a new grid rather than the NULL

Just a heads up but you could also have changed your original Africa grid via SH3commander before leaving to something closer

just curious as to whether or not i did something wrong here...

I patrolled off cuba and stopped at a milk cow on the return leg - but SH3 commander didnt set my days in port to 1... appears i was sitting with this milk cow for nearly a month.

any ideas?

I take it you are running SH3commander 2.6 or above

version 2.7.0.130 it says.

i think i might have docked with the milk cow - exited the game - came back later in the day and launched SH3 via SH3 commander perhaps that had something to do with it

I'm using GWX v1.03. How do I resupply using a friendly tanker in a neutral port? Or a milk cow for that matter? is it just a matter of setting my waypoint to the tanker? Or are resupplies only possible with SH3Commander?
