I saw this yesterday while browsing YouTube. Its a sexy boat no doubt. Cheap, able to dive in just 20meters of water, and needs a crew ~30 men... ideal for off coast spying and special ops. Makes me think that it wouldn't hurt if the USN bougtht 4 or 5 as dedicated spy boats.

i think its a great boat too. it submerged off the North coast of Germany and resurfaced in the strait of Gibraltar 3 weeks later! incredible!

:yep: We'd save us some money too. Over 1 Billion $$s per boat is kind of getting to me...

Some years ago you even tried to buy the whole shipyard...!

Crap music? What's wrong with Vangelis, even if this theme (from "Cosmos") is a bit old now?
