Sub tenders and hull damage?

Sub tenders ("dimmed" anchor icon on the map) replenish torpedos and fuel but do they repair the hull damage too?

They shouldn't - hull repairs should necessitate docking and spending couple weeks in between patrols......

Anyone knows?

RL tenders can fix hull damage above the water line very easily. So it depends.
