Ubisoft thinks we are a bunch of chumps. They will continue thinking we are bunch of chumps until we prove otherwise.

Ubisoft is also a public company. Its primary listing is in France, but it is also listed in the US. Hmmm, public company ... that's interesting ....

Here is a list of the financial analysts that cover Ubisoft's stock:

SELL-SIDE ANALYSTS COVERING UBISOFT
Company, Name, Location

Arkeon, Charles Planade, France
BMO, Edward Williams, U.S.A.
Citigroup, Sebastien Lalevée, France
Deutsche Bank, Eric Elalouf, France
Exane BNP Paribas, Stéphane Nières-Tavernier, France
Fideuram Wargny, Jean Michel Salvador, France
IXIS, Richard-Maxime Beaudoux, France
ING, Laurent Gras, France
Oddo, Brice Mari, France
Wedbush Morgan, Michael Pachter, U.S.A.

Very easy to get their email or phone contact info, since it's always listed on the research reports. I'd bet they'd like to know that Ubisoft just pissed off a major community that supports its games, severely damaging its reputation.

Here are the major institutional investors in Ubisoft. Bet they would be interested in what people are saying about the company.

Okay, maybe EA won't care (they'd probably cheer!), but I notice quite a lot of overlap with the coverage analysts, so I suspect the analysts have a lot of weight here.

Here are a couple major investors that have been buying Ubisoft lately. I bet they'd be REALLY interested in how the company is handling its customer relationships.

I really hope Ubi reads this post and responds accordingly. A notice that 1.3 will be here any day now will soothe my feelings, and save me a lot of emails calling investors' and analysts' attention to what's going on in this forum.

Firstly why not post in the already open threads ?

Secondly you speak of Ubi as if it was a single entity. First of all there a large corporation with many shareholders as you pointed out. Secondly they dont read english for the most part.

Oh boy...
I don't even know what to say... I'm just thinking if those investors are REALLY interested what a bunch of hardcore subsim dedicated fans have to say...

Think about the bigger picture here. This may be the first slip down a long slope. I'm sure the shareholders would be interested to know that the business practices of their company may be taking a turn for the worse. A turn that may indeed affect their bottom line.

Kudos to vindex for having some initiative. These defeatist attitudes on display here are most certainly worthless. Trying something will always be better than posting  and doing nothing. The apathy is part of the damn problem.

Believe me, any investor is interested in what customers are saying about a company. It's like what they say -- if you hear from 1 unhappy customer, there are probably 99 others out there.

The PC platform accounts for 16% of Ubi's game sales. That may not sound like a lot, but it make PCs a close #3 among Ubi's platform segments. So I don't think they can just blow off PC gamers.

I realize Ubi is not one entity. The decision-makers on the patch probably don't even know or care about Ubi's investor relations, or its stock. But the people who manage the people who manage them do.

According to Citigroup's latest analyst report, the reason people have been buying Ubi's stock, and why it is considered a good buy, is that they are a likely target to be acquired by EA. Hmmm. Any bad news, such as a customer revolt, would really throw a wet towel on such a promising possibility. Or, if EA still went ahead, it would certainly affect the VALUATION Ubi got on exit because it would affect growth projections. See why investors care?

BTW, all financial analysts speak English, in Asia and Europe. It's a basic job requirement.

Do not underestimate your power. Capitalism works. You just have to know how to make it work.

The reason I posted this separately is so I could easily include the link in an email to Ubisoft's Investor Relations Dept.

Get off the drugs. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Here's for you:

UBISOFT's Ghost Recon etc. > Subsim community

Solution for Ubisoft if subsim community is unhappy with the game, resulting in losses: Drop subsims.

This is where your energies need to be going. I have written to UBI. There is plenty of disatisfaction threads here and at the UBI site. I think we are being heard but are they really listening? Not sure.
