The sad thing is more of the community is concerned with the "OMG if someone sues UBI, no more SH games......." statement.
There is no proof that there will even be another one after 4, and quite frankly with the GLARING issues that have yet to be fixed and the sorry state of the vanilla game when it did come out, do you really want UBI to F&*K up SH5?
Society does not and should not accept shoddy work, even if it is only a video game. I for one would rather not see another Silent Hunter title if the pattern of SH4 is going to be the model for it.
The developers deserve kudos for their efforts, no mistake about that. UBI though has failed its customers and for that there should be some sort of repercussions. All the fanboy "oh its one of the greatest games released even with its flaws" attitude will do nothing but ensure that UBI screws you over more if and when they do release Silent Hunter 5. As a community we should not stand for it, whether that be by boycotting UBI's future releases or the more drastic class action lawsuit.
Odds are this thread will be locked within minutes of the posting of it, as it is readily apparent that the mod staff is not overly concerned with a free exchange of ideas, even heretical ones such as boycott and lawsuits.:down:
