Hi there fellow captains..

I have a few questions regarding patrols.
I am now on my 3rd patrol, and there are som bugs a really dislike.
Maybe I missed some of problems are already solved.. or maybe someone can help me solve these bugs..

* Compression time.. I can go upto 3000 aprox on patrol start. Then my PC works fine. When I sail home I cannot get more then 1024.. Higher and my pc becomes a slideshow (3FPS !) What it going on ??
I really hope somebody can make a mod to end a patrol when you are out of combat and surfaced (like SH-III)

* Whats up with the bow planes after a few days ??
The graphic is defintly not working correctly..
I only "save game" when I am surfaced.. never when submerged !

I dont see any real problems here.

Yes your FPS can suffer at extremly high rates of time compression what the hell do you expect. Its not like your admiring the scenery at these rates anyways. Towards the "end" of a patrol there are alot more 'things' to keep track of than when you started.

Yes there is some minor clipping issues with certain models what can I say.

A decrease from max 3000+ to max 1024.. it makes the way back a long..long lonesome road :D
There must be some way to work around this in a mod..

A decrease from max 3000+ to max 1024.. it makes the way back a long..long lonesome road :D
There must be some way to work around this in a mod..

Have you tried the reduced radio traffic mod ? It puts less entrys in your logbook and helps performance some.

I assume you patched to 1.3 which helped alot with false contacts.

Turn your radar off (assuming you have one).

Zoom in on your map some. Showing the entire world can definatly slow things down.

Stay in / over deep water and far from shores.

Accept patch 1.3 :D .. I tried it all.. no joy
Looks like the game is consuming my memory
