Herring Salad in Vigo?

Has anyone tasted the herring salad while restocking in Vigo? Looked good in Das Boot. Oh, and the figs looked inviting too. ;)

I can assure you that in Vigo you might find much tastier food than herring salad. Nothing against herring salad, but Galicia is well known for the quality and variety of local seafood :|\\

Steinhager goes well with herring. Had the best herring ever in Hamburg. A simple schmaltz herring mit Saltz Kartofeln (memorable).

Used to get a Herring salad with mustard sauce here in the local supermarket. You could eat a jar in a single sitting. Haven't seen it for a while now. That's the problem when you live with uncultured swine........
