Dear Sirs!

The second Sunday in May, in other words: next Sunday, is designated as Mother’s day to praise your mother, mother-in-law, the mother of your kids and motherhood in general.

For a proper celebration you will probably need this (source: "Titanic Magazin"):

a mouthwash “Stroh rum” (alcohol content 80 %),
a breakfast cigar “Shut your gob!” by brand "Speechless",
a dish set “Crusty”
and a freezer “Hide out”.

My mother is either dead or hiding from me, and the mother of my kids kicked me out before a lot of you were born.

Thank you so much for reminding me.:dead:

Oh, while both of the above are undeniably true, I'm just using it as an excuse for a slap back.:rotfl:

Happy Mother's day, folks.

Just remembered: I once took a friend to lunch for Mother's Day...told him he was the biggest mother I knew. Given the circumstances, he didn't complain.

That's what I told my little sister when she was a teenager. Her mom (my stepmom) made a rude remark to me, and after she left the room my baby sis (then 16) quietly called her some bad names. I said pretty much the same thing to her: "She's the only one you'll ever have, and you'll show her some respect when I'm around!"
