I just saw an ad on the Discovery Channel for a show called The Sinking of the Lusitania. It will air this Saturday at 9pm eastern. From the looks of it, it looks like one of their acted out type of documentaries. I kind of reminds me of the building of the Titanic one they did. Anyway, it looks quite interesting. It seems like they even got their colors right on the ship, because in the animation it had black funnels from what I could see in the split second they showed it. Just thought some of you might like to know.

Cool. I'll either watch it or record it. Das Boot has been on quite a bit lately. So has Bismark. Titanic is probably due to come on again. Then it'll be another round of the uboats.
I'd like to see a discovery on all the sub technology and equipment. Different torps and their propulsion systems, hydrophone systems, sonar transducers, engines, electrical systems.
If anyone has been watching the HD discovery tank restorations, they are pretty cool, too! Watched part of the Comet one and I was hooked. Watched the Panther last night and it wasn't too bad (the show, not the chassis :huh:).
Although, I'd rather see the machinists at work than the rich f*cker leaning up against his car, talking about the expense and vastness of his collection. The Comet one had more of the machinists working.

A nice find indeed,
really that moment the people hanging on the rail to see the torpedo comming in.
I can perfeclty imagine the horror going on just seeying that trail closing in
