Argh!

I can't tell you the number of times I've either just fired a torpedo, or it has just hit a ship, when "blip", the computer reboots!

Arrrgh!

SH3 doesnt crash my friend, if you say that the PC reboots its a bigger problem

this is mostly a non-sh3 related problem
the reason why it crashes under SH3 is that the system has to Work for it to run.
(an SH3 problem it would be if the game itself crashed to desktop)
something severe wrong is happening in your computer

also known as the Blue Screen of Death,

*Hardware device is broken
*Hardware Driver is messed up / not installed properly
*important Windows Software is not working correctly

you could do the following thing to confirm you have a BSOD

''Right click'' on my computer
click Properties, and then click on Advanced properties/options
then click on configuration @ Start- Recovery settings
Un-tag ''Reboot automaticly''

now launch SH3(also try another Heavy game) and let the Computer crash, now if that happens your computer will stick to a blue screen(untill you press the On/Off button or the Reset button) with an error message, write it down and go to google if they have any solution

also check the computers Temperature, they have a Crash limit at a certain heat it builds up inside the case, open the case, and gently dust the fans and cooling devices off. be very carefully not to damage anything inside.

doesnt help?

I suggest you unninstall all the drivers you have and install them with the latest
if that doesnt help, a complete windows reinstall might do the trick or bring your Computer to the nearest PC shop in the area.

On a couple of occassions I have gotten the BSD. But I did not know about that configuration option to stop an automatic reboot, though, so thanks.

My system is growing quite "old" with lots of installed software so maybe it is time to do a system wipe. Or buy a new computer. :)

I perfer to do a system wipe first, if that doesnt work then u can buy a new comp or if ur comp is custom built get a new motherboard or somethin.
