New GWX MP TeamSpeak

Due to the loss of the cogamers server on TeamSpeak approx. a month ago, I gave the committment to run an alternate 24/7 server, subject to a satisfactory trial period. I am happy to announce that the trial period was a success and the GWX team have moved to this new server.
Anyone who would like to play GWX MP online using the GWX TeamSpeak server are welcome to come aboard.

Details:

GWX Crew server address 62.31.189.116:8767

Password 'wolf' (to enter the lobby) then the same password to enter the MP channel.

Hey Jimbuna, offtopic, but can you point a noob in the direction of where to find other GWX players for some MP?

I've never played SH3 MP at all, however I am hanging out to have some wolf pack action :arrgh!:

I have an ADSL2+ connection, im hoping this is sufficient for MP GWX ?

You can play online (LAN) in game, or you can choose multiplayer and register with (Ubisoft.com) and join their server then you can try the obvious.....#1 ;)

isnt that only a TS server? or is that a dedicated GWX server for MP?

No prob mate....you need to register with Ubisoft.com first. This allows you to access online MP games around the www.
The GWX Crew are all registered and only use the TS server to interract with one another whilst playing MP online :up:

Here's a clearer explanation :up:
If you wish to try out MP and are unsure how to do it here are a few easy steps to help you along the way.
1 ) First off you need to set up an account at www.ubi.com (http://www.ubi.com/) . Make a note of what your user name and password are.
2 ) Keep your computer connected to the internet and load up SH3.
3 ) When the game has loaded up select the Multiplayer option.
4 ) Click on play at ubi.com
5 ) Enter your user name and password and click on ok.
6 ) Then you will be in the waiting room with a list of games in front of you.
7 ) Then pick the game you wish to join, then click on ok.
8 ) You may be asked to type in the password fill it in then press ok.
9 ) If you wish to be the server just click on create game in the bottom left of the screen and follow the instructions.

NOTE: You have to have the same install and mods everyone else is playing/using in your MP game or you will CTD.

Highly unlikely....GWX is what brought this motley crew together, although it's possible that one day a future course of events might mean the server is used by those who play either game :yep:

There's nothing stopping someone setting up a server of their own to facilitate SH4 MP :nope:
