As a city prosecutor said during closing arguments that Hilton deserved jail time, Hilton's mother, Kathy, laughed. When the judge ruled, Kathy Hilton then blurted out: "May I have your autograph?"

I'm just happy a celebrity is finally getting what they deserve. You do the crime, you do the time.

I wonder how many young girls this Hilton female has corrupted?

Wait... let me rephrase that question.

I wonder how many young girls lives have been corrupted by the Media portraying this Hilton female as a roll model?

Yes, just remember this other poor little rich girl that trolled around together with her, Britney Spears. She really hat a bad influence on her, didn't she?

Showbiz is hell, and corrupts the hell out of people. If thinking about it, it is not so much funny, or ridiculous, but only tragic to see people wasting their lives when being born as humans. That media and peope pay so much attention to this tells somethign about how great our culture really is, or has become.

I thought she was great :)

Finally, someone had the guts to strip away the pretence of fame. She had no talents worhty of fame, but was still a star. (I've seen the video, nothing special, she looks bored and uninterested)
Thats the emerging nature of celebrity these days, unfortunately most attention whores are singing/acting/posing. Pretending fame and celebrity were an unhappy byproduct of their "art". Paris Hilton, Occupation: Being Paris Hilton. Endy Story

What a shame that she is going to prison.

well, she wont, of course. she'll probably promise the appeals judge a favour or two and it'll be overruled.

personally, i cant think of any 'famous' person i dislike more! like has already been said, shes known for doing nothing. plenty of opportunities for her to do good etc, but no, she would rather keep her hair in place.

I also really, really dun wanna see her videos. cant think of anything worse!:dead:

It`s nice to see that rich people can`t pay themselves out of everything. But I hear she will get VIP treatment in jail. She will get a cell of her own instead of sharing it with two lesbian discus throwers:lol:

Would like to read the written veredict of the Judge, out of professional curiosity:hmm: Wonder if he has been proffesional enough to stay away from arguments concerning who Paris is and his general behaviour in life, etc.

Not that the personal circumstances of the punished person don't have to be taken into account, but some of them are clearly not relevant legally.

Anyway, if Paris gets her 45 days in jail, if the Judge makes a proffesional veredict, and if that is exactly the correct legal decision according to the Californian State Laws (Which I ignore) then the justice system overall is reinforced.
