Falklands war book

I am reading two books at the moment one is called "a bearskins crimea"about a Guards officers expeiirence of the 1853-56 crimean war and one called "Razors edge" about the falklands.apparently the most detailed unofficial account of the war.plenty of diagrams and maps and a few photos.Is anyone else reading about this subject at the moment?

Not I. But then when I think Falklands I usually think 1914.

If you are looking for an interesting book on the Falklands Conflict, I'd recommend 'Sea Harrier over the Falklands' by Commander 'Sharkey' Ward.

In addition to some accounts of aerial combat which make thrilling reading, the book has lots of insight into the tactics employed by those aircraft in screening the fleet and the bombing strikes of the main campaign, plus a fair bit on the preparations for the conflict. Some of which, the book makes abundantly clear were obviously woefully inadequate. Also features interesting insights into the rivalry between the Fleet Air Arm and the RAF (which Ward criticises massively). The book features a somewhat scathing attack on lots of things that were done wrong following the conflict and although clearly a personal view, with which some might disagree, it's very insightful and well-written.

Certainly worth seeking out.

Second time I saw this documentary, an Argentine / British coproduction. I think it´s the best one about the subject: well researched, with interviews to key military personnel (Moore, Woodward, Thompson for the Brit side; Menendez, Busser, Balza from Argieland), and first grade recreations and computer animations.
